Dr. Sarah Glass is a comprehensive ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery as well as medical and surgical management of a wide range of eye diseases. She enjoys the practice of ophthalmology because of the longitudinal relationships she forms with patients and the technical expertise needed to care for patients.
Dr. Glass was born and raised in Southern California and then moved to the opposite coast to complete her undergraduate degree in neuroscience at Dartmouth College. She then received her M.D. from Vanderbilt University Medical School where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Glass completed ophthalmology residency training at the Casey Eye Institute at Oregon Health & Science University. While in residency, Dr. Glass received multiple awards for excellence in ophthalmic knowledge acquisition and residency teaching.
Dr. Glass lives in Portland with her husband where she enjoys hiking with her dog, skiing, caring for her houseplants, cooking, and trying new restaurants.
