Dr. Carpentier is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery, diabetic eye exams, glaucoma, and MIGS (minimally-invasive glaucoma surgery).
Dr. Carpentier completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, Ph.D. at the University of Washington, and M.D. at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. During his time in medical school he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical student honor society. He then completed his intern year at the University Colorado before completing his ophthalmology residency at Wake Forest, where he was chosen to be chief resident.
In his free time, Dr. Carpentier enjoys rock climbing, taking care of his bonsai trees, and hiking with his wife, two children, and dog named Waffles.
